  1. I love stories with smart and sassy heroines and tough on the outside but soft in the inside heroes :))

  2. Generally I love books with lots humor, keep-u-on-ur-toes twists and Heroes with Devil may care attitude. Also I love a heroine with Sarcasm !!

  3. It has to be a story with a meaning. The book has to give me something, I need to feel with the characters (love, hate, pain, regret, happiness… it doesn’t matter what, just something).

  4. Books that can make me laugh, cry, and smile usually do it for me. Anything that can really make me connect with the characters. I love strong funny heroines/heros.

  5. I love when reading a book to feel as like I can lose myself in the book. I am in that world and the characters are my friends. I like so many different genres it’s hard for me to be specific about what I want in a plot or characters. Seeing the review above mine, reminded me of a series I just read and what bugged me. It was a romance and the heroine was so weak in my opinion. She was so infatuated with the guy that she annoyed me. You can have a great romance story without the heroine being a wimp. Pride and Prejudice for example.

  6. I love books that make me laugh a lot and have great character development. If they’re young adult books, I absolutely adore character development. I don’t enjoy when the main character is weak, though. I like it when the main character is respectable and can stand up for themselves.

  7. Interesting plot and characters…..I don’t have any particular element that makes me love a book…I mean it can be funny…or creepy…I just have to be interested somehow…if the book can make me feel strongly about the characters…I’m going to love it…….I just don’t what it is….

  8. for me have to have funny characters and scene of love .. and one hot scene that leaves me with my mouth open

  9. A book needs to leave me lost in the world for a bit. I love the sweeping sagas because they take over time and you get lost in the intrigue, etc. If reading romance, I like my heroines to be strong and self sufficient.

  10. It has to have a plot that has a good pace and relatable characters. I also love some humor and great romance! Thanks!

  11. I absolutely hate love triangles. But, if need be, it has to be so, so good! Also, I love urban fantasy/paranormal elements in a story.

  12. For em to love a book, it has to have good characters. I mean, characters drive the whole thing, and if I don’t like them… I’ll stop reading. I don’t want to spend my spare time with people I don’t like.

  13. One of the most important things for me is that the characters need to have depth 🙂 Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!

  14. So many things, strong characters, unique plot, romance, mystery, and ones that make me go through a bunch of emotions!

  15. for me it has to have action, I like Romance, STRONG heroines! I hate “love” triangles.

  16. The elements I like in a book are:
Of course supernatural creatures. I love reading about all the different supernatural creatures authors can make up. Also I really enjoy when an author puts humor throughout the book. I love to laugh when I’m reading. Action. I’m actually loving action in my books. When reading a dystopian genre it has to have that action that makes my heart race. And with twist and turns so I don’t know what’s coming. And of course romance! Can’t forget about that one! It’s definitely a must! Thank you so much for your generous giveaway prize!! Thank you so much for a chance to win and for being a part of this fun and awesome blog hop!!

  17. Usually the books I love are in series that have a balance between action and romance, and I HAVE to like the characters. Usually a lot.

  18. I have to have a great story with at least a touch of romance that isn’t predictable. The characters have to be believable and not whiny and chemistry is a must. I need to feel like I am living what they are going through.

  19. I entered your Signed Book Blog Hop
It would be great to win a signed copy of The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.
In response to your question of For you to love a book, what elements does it have to have?
for me to be interested in a book it has to have a cover that catches my eye.
I then read the synopsis and see if it’s something i want to read.
I will also check out the reviews it has gotten before i buy it.
Thank you for having this giveaway!!!!!!!!

  20. Great plot and storyline, interesting characters that I care about, fantastic world-building and good editing!

  21. It has to have characters that I can connect to (does not mean I have to like them) and it has to have a story that keeps me interested.

  22. In general, I like paranormal with some romance, but I love a story that can get me so involved with the characters that I just sob, or one that scares me so badly I have to leave the lights on.

  23. I have to have some form of romance in my books. Growing up, I was a huge horror fan, now I like to be swept off my feet 🙂
